The week long coding program aimed to provide students with an opportunity to learn coding skills and explore career paths in technology. The Exchange Technology Academy will inspire and empower Manitoba's youth to pursue their passions and achieve their goals in the tech industry.

This spring break, Exchange Technology Services sponsored and hosted its inaugural coding camp for 21 Manitoba First Nations School System students. Students from 11 northern Manitoba communities traveled to Winnipeg for a weeklong summit designed to teach them the fundamentals of coding and expose them to a promising future in technology.

Our goal was to deliver a real-world coding experience to today's youth using indigenous-inspired immersive and experiential learning techniques. We are eternally grateful to have had the opportunity to provide so many bright students with this special learning experience and the resources to keep developing their skills in their communities. We look forward to next year's class and bringing in additional youth from more communities to join this inspiring group of students and potential future ETS employees!
